Design management practice opinion

The development of construction design projects is sometimes like growing fruit trees.
It is necessary to understand the characteristics of growth and nurture to create the best conditions for the plants to develop themselves. | Sweet fruit needs good roots.

Of course, there is no denying the role of soil, favorable climate, pests, and … thieves in the process of growing fruit trees.

However, the factor that I want to see about the similarity between the act of “nourishing” the tree and developing the project is to let the tree “grow itself” best in an environment that is nurtured by the incubator, not the ideal. subjective feelings on the owner such as making pottery or weaving cloth.

There will be many factors affecting the project such as Budget, legal, market absorption, orientation from BOD, project team, local project status, and progress…
For a good manager, it is necessary to receive multi-dimensional, complete information and make the right decisions in each context, each stage, with different impacts on the project.

Each project develops in a different context, different locality, different market, different development unit, different organizational structure & team capacity, so the project operation process is more or less different.
It is very important to apply the right knowledge, not to follow stereotypes, and not to be subjective.

From a personal opinion, I always appreciate 3 qualities:

• Knowledge.
• Experience.
• Innovation efforts.

Ordinary knowledge will accumulate with experience, but 10 years of experience doing the same job is much different from practicing each level of work gradually according to expertise.
Experience is very valuable, but without sharp knowledge, it is very easy to work and think in the same way, doing old things the old way.
I believe: with good knowledge and constant innovation efforts will bring professional achievements.

The profession does not distinguish between high-class or low-class,
When you use your skills create better value than the majority.
